Why I Use a Sample MBA Essay OutlineAs I was completing my MBA program, I was asked to prepare a sample MAE for my professor. I found it a bit odd because I had never seen an outline in my life. I wanted to find out what this sample MAE was like before I started preparing one of my own.The sample MAE from my professor was easy to read. It only included three major topics and each topic were broken down into several sections. I quickly memorized these sections as they were easy to understand and the parts that were not so easy to remember.The first section of the MAE I read involved a three-part course. The first part was an introduction to the course. It discussed the main syllabus for the course and the beginning of the class. There were several readings that are covered in the first part of the MAE.The second part of the MAE I read dealt with five chapters that covered the different areas of the course. These chapters included curriculum, textbook, introductory essays, case studies , and final projects. I also learned that the case studies were used in research projects, practicals, and final projects. There were also four chapters on sample projects that are completed in the course.The third part of the MAE I read focused on the four major topics that are common in any MBA. This part covered the goals and objectives for the course. There were also two chapters on the course evaluation and review. The last chapter I read focused on financial management courses, executive courses, and business administration courses.The final section of the MAE I read covered the last topic that is common in any MBA. This topic was executive coaching. In this section of the MAE, the focus was on executive coaching by MBA students.I have been working with several clients who are also working towards their MBA degrees. Many of them prefer to use my sample MAE that I prepared during my master's program because it was easy to read and did not contain any jargon or complicated terms . This also makes the MAE easier to remember and apply throughout the semester of the MBA program.My copy of the MAE was very similar to my professor's sample MAE. It included all of the major topics covered in the class and the topics were broken down into various parts. For me, this is why I prefer to use a sample MAE instead of writing my own.
